Refund Policy
Please note that PetPeople.in a wholly owned service of PM Square Soft Services PVT Ltd., Coimbatore here in after referred as PetPeople, collects payments only for the following services.
Banner advertisements:
These advertisements are shown on the top header portion of the site and two advertisements on the right side of every page. These are not classified advertisements.
The funds collected are refundable according to the following policies.
- This refund policy is applicable only for the direct advertisements published by PetPeople which have come from advertisers. This policy is not applicable for the advertisements displayed by partnering with Google Ads or Others.
- No refund requests will be entertained in case the advertisement has been live for the purchased number of days.
- If a banner advertisement is requested with payment and the banner advertisement is not displayed online, then the advertiser will get 95% of the amount paid as refund. The rest 5% will be retained by PetPeople as processing charges.
- If a such an ad has gone live then the refund will be pro-rated based on the payment made and refunded in addition to the 5% processing charges. For example if an advertiser has purchased an advertisement for 30 days paying Rs. 15000, and the advertisement was live for 3 days, then his refund is calculated as below.
- Total Advertisement Charges Paid by Customer – Rs. 15000
- Processing Charges – Rs. 750 (5% of the amount)
- Advertisement was live for 3 days – (3/30) * 15000 = Rs. 1500
- Total Deductions – Rs. 2250
- Amount Refundable – Rs. 12750
- For the purpose of the above calculations, any fraction of days beyond 8 hours is rounded off as full day. Less than 8 hours will be rounded off as 0 days.
Featured Listings:
These are the classified advertisement submissions which are shown on a priority basis over the other free advertisements.
The funds collected are refundable according to the following policies.
- No refund requests will be entertained in case the classified listing has been live for the purchased number of days.
- If a featured listing is requested with payment and listing is not displayed online, then the advertiser will get 90% of the amount paid as refund. The rest 10% will be retained by PetPeople as processing charges.
- If a such an ad has gone live then the refund will be pro-rated based on the payment made and refunded in addition to the 5% processing charges. For example if an advertiser has purchased an advertisement for 30 days paying Rs. 750, and the advertisement was live for 3 days, then his refund is calculated as below.
- Total Advertisement Charges Paid by Customer – Rs. 750
- Processing Charges – Rs. 75 (10% of the amount)
- Advertisement was live for 3 days – (3/30) * 750 = Rs. 75
- Total Deductions – Rs. 150
- Amount Refundable – Rs. 600
- For the purpose of the above calculations, any fraction of days beyond 8 hours is rounded off as full day. Less than 8 hours will be rounded off as 0 days.
Subscriptions:
Members may also purchase sponsored page or other subscriptions. This will be one Full Page featuring all the special services provided by the Seller. These are monthly subscriptions and for refund policy can be considered like one individual Featured Listing each month.
These payments may either be collected in Cash (with receipts), Cheque, Demand Drafts, Bank Transfers or via Credit Card payments. The refund may be issued via either Cheque, Demand Draft, Credit Card Refund or Bank Transfer and this whole decision rests with PetPeople.
If the advertisement was taken offline for reasons of advertiser violating the terms and conditions, the entire amount is subject to be forfeited by the company. All decisions made by PetPeople is final in this regard.
Notwithstanding anything in this policy to the contrary, PetPeople.in reserves the right to finally determine in its sole discretion whether the criteria for a refund set forth in this policy have been satisfied and to request any additional information relevant to such request.
All refund requests must be made via the registered email address used for posting advertisements along with the phone number. PetPeople reserves the right to reject the refund in case of unverifiable requests.
The above policy is effective from 07-Mar-2012 until further notice. PetPeople also reserves the right to terms and conditions without notice, but the effective date of such terms will be from the date of change.
